Visit Bristol- The official tourist guide

Purpose: The aim of video is to show Bristol in its simplest and purest form. As the video includes lots off iconic places in Bristol the purpose could also be to act as almost a quick guide for tourist but in video form.  

Form/genre: This is an mp4 video shot in Bristol featuring places such as the Bristol Museum and the Harbourside. This 2 minutes and 15 seconds video is shot mainly with a quick succession of time-lapsepes, making the video relatively fast paced.

Content: The video includes various places and landmarks with in Bristol for example the Bristol Suspension Bridge. The time-lapses are of panning shots, the editing is quick and sharp and the music is lively and upbeat; all these elements contribute to fats-paced nature of the video. The colours are all crisp and clear to show Bristol in the best light. The video is printed in liner form as it starts of a morning shot and ends with a night life shot of Bristol, showing Bristol in a day. 

Meaning: The meaning could be simply to showcase what Bristol has to offer. However I feel there is much more of a deeper meaning in the video because the time-lapse could be used to emphasise the speed of our daily lives and shows how sometimes even as Citizens of Bristol we miss the hidden beauty that Bristol conveys whoever thats through crystal clear landscape shots or through close ups of various art or animals. In addition as Citizens of Bristol its really refreshing to watch the video knowing how great the City is. 

Intended audience: I think the primary TA are Tourist or travellers as it has the word Tourist in the title of the video and also it encompasses all the different attractions of Bristol for Tourist. 

Intended audience: the audience is tourist which is stated in the title of the film. 

TV 2   ALL THAT WE SHARE 

Purpose: Its aim is to show how even though everyone is different we all live in the same community

Form/genre: Once again this is an mp4 video with a run-time of 3 minutes. This is a social documental on ordinary people from different walks of life as the video's indented use is to show we all have something in common; e.g our own Country. This is also a Tv advert for TV 2 which is a company in Denmark.

Content :A key part of the video is the narration over the top. The narrator guides the audience through each group of people that we see and helps the audience understand why these people are here.  They used birds eye view shot very effectively as it made the audience feel like they could concentrate on what was going on rather than being overwhelmed by the the amount of people that was in the video. The colour was important as the people wore different coloured top so emphasise how different everyone actually is.

Meaning: The meaning, which I touched on in Form/genre is to show how even though everyone comes from different communities and backgrounds, the one thing that units us all is the love for our Country. In their case its the love for Denmark. The emotion I felt when watching the promo was joy as it was great to see so many people from all walks of life share their love for Denmark, it was also very powerful as the deeper message was strong. 

Intended audience: As this is a TV advert for one of Denmarks most popular channels which means it contains no sexual content, no swearing and nov violence which is ideal for as family audience
